Thank you so much for coming to our 25th Wedding Anniversary celebrations, it would not have been the same without you there, well we wouldn’t have met without Sara Eden!

I am so sorry that the whole of Ian’s speech did not record as much of it was about Sara Eden. We always tell the story about you turning him away when he first came to see you as it was too soon after the death of his wife to start dating again. When driving home through Windsor Great Park he thought to himself, “how dare they say I’m not ready, how am I going to tell my friends I have been turned away from a dating agency!” But then concluded thank goodness you did as he was definitely NOT ready.

What as fantastic 25th Wedding Anniversary lunch with Ian and Cherry yesterday. Thank you Ian for sharing with everyone there how you met Cherry 26 years ago through Sara Eden and how it was meant to be. After being widowed for only three months we advised Ian to come back to us a few months later when he had time to grieve. This he did and on our recommendation he met Cherry and the rest is history.
Look what came in the post this morning. An invitation to the 25th Wedding Anniversary celebrations from Ian and Cherry. After being introduced through Sara Eden 26 years ago I was invited to their wedding 25 years ago and remember it well. Really looking forward to catching up with them in December.

Dear Karen and Debbie,
It’s one year today since I first called your office on a Sunday afternoon.
It’s very hard to believe that one call transformed my life. I really believed that I would never be as happy as I am today and the rest of my life would be spent on my own. Since that first call, as you know, through Sara Eden, I met Cherry. We have both said many times that, if it hadn’t been for Sara Eden, we could never have met our ideal person, as there is no way we could have met in our normal day-to-day lives or in our social circle. You will have guessed from the postcards and Cherry’s change of address that we are very, very happy together. Cherry often tells me that she had just about given up hoping to meet the ‘right’ person and can’t believe what has happened. I can’t believe my luck. I have to say, if I had written a list of everything I was looking for in a partner, Cherry would have met every criterion and more. I want to thank you for changing my life and for making two people very happy. By now you will not be surprised to know that we shall be marrying on the 12th December, one year to the day since we met. Once again, a big THANK YOU and, by the way, Cherry says we are sorry but we won’t be renewing our membership when it expires!

Hi Karen,
I have just been doing some research for a client of mine and came across your website, so I thought I must drop you a line to see how you are. You introduced me to Ian over 20 years ago and we have now been married for 21 years and couldn’t be happier.
We are proud grandparents to 6 grandchildren, 3 boys and three girls, so our lives really have changed, especially Ian’s as he had no family at all until we met.
Anyway, I just thought I would let you know that we are well and happy and to remind you what a great job you did in getting us together.
