About our Founder
In 1988 Karen was working at Buckingham Palace. After one too many of her friends had complained about their difficulty in finding a partner, she founded Sara Eden Introductions. With the name ‘Sara’ meaning Princess and ‘Eden’ meaning paradise and love, it was with a nod to the past that she started on a future which has seen the agency become responsible for literally thousands of marriages and countless long-term relationships, making Sara Eden undoubtedly the UK’s leading Introduction Agency.
Her links with Buckingham Palace and Windsor Castle remain to this day, as there is an office opposite the Castle and the London office is a two minute walk from the Palace. She has also had the pleasure of being PR for the Prince Philip Trust Fund.
In 1997 she became Vice-Chair of the Association of British Introduction Agencies (ABIA) a post she held until 2009, when she became Press Officer for the Association.
As a result of Sara Eden’s success she has been asked to contribute towards a host of magazine/newspaper articles and has appeared on numerous TV and radio shows. Appearances over the years include BBC 1’s “Would Like to Meet”, BBC Breakfast, GMTV, Sunrise, Sky News, Lorraine, a Ready Steady Cook Valentine’s Day special and co-presented BBC TV programme ‘Ditch the Day Job’, Channel 4 Dispatches plus many, many more.
Karen personally looks after a small group of clients who have been invited to join Sara Eden at Founders level. This elite group want the best – to find out how you could join them in benefitting from Karen’s extensive expertise and impressive 95% success rate, please contact us at either of our offices.
The Sara Eden Management Team
About our Manager
Having been with Sara Eden for over 33 years, there is not much that Debbie does not know about Matchmaking! Her reputation for being sincere, honest and with her common sense approach and wealth of experience she has been responsible for numerous long-term relationships.
‘My time at Sara Eden has taught me a lot about people and given me the ability to help our clients get the most out of their memberships. I have had the pleasure of introducing some amazing people to each other and some of my very first couples are still in touch which is fantastic, the buzz of making a successful match never goes away. Being with Sara Eden has also provided me with a lot of experiences that I would never have had in any other job, I’ve been on TV discussing dating, I’ve been in National newspapers and magazines giving advice and my favourite experience was being in a feature film with Stephen Mangan – as me! That was great fun’
Senior Consultant
Instinctive, wise and very warm, Angela is adept at guiding clients towards understanding what will make them truly happy. Everyone is at their ease with her and she makes the whole experience feel like quite the adventure.
‘The best thing about our clients is how different they all are – there is no such thing as a formula for finding love here, so I never know quite what to expect. Without a doubt, finding your soul mate is life changing and I am delighted to be part of making that happen for so many lovely couples!’
Beth - Consultant
Beth truly cares about her clients and wants to find them their “soul mate” and will do everything in her power to achieve that.
Sadly, she doesn’t possess magical powers, instead she has bags of determination, resourcefulness and willingness to go the extra mile in her desire to make people happy.
She has a natural ability to balance her clients’ emotions, to be firm when necessary but to also be a sympathetic listener if things don’t go quite to plan.
She loves this job, it’s the best feeling in the world – to pass on good news and potentially change someone’s life forever!
Cathy - Consultant
Cathy loves helping our clients have a happy, positive and enjoyable experience in their quest to find a partner. Which is exactly what Sara Eden is all about.
Very much a people person “ I have the matchmaking bug, making people happy is infectious- I love my amazing job”
Rebecca - Consultant
Rebecca has a calm and reassuring manner which instantly puts our clients at ease. Friendly and down to earth, she loves hearing people’s stories and intuitively finds connections between people. She is thrilled that she gets to do this on a daily basis at Sara Eden.
