Not long now until our 30th Anniversary. When I launched Sara Eden on 19th September 1988 this was our brochure. I remember sitting there waiting for the phone to ring, our adverts were in the press and we had arranged for flyers to be delivered through doors in the Ascot and Windsor area.
As the day went on the phone didn’t ring and I starting to panic – had I made the right decision to leave a well-paid job to start Sara Eden. Then late afternoon we got our first enquiry, I remember it as if it was yesterday. A 45 year old divorced company director called Andrew, with great excitement I ran to post our brochure to the very first person to respond to our advert.
